Jaeger LeCoultre 134.81.20 wrist watches news:
This past Spring I toured the Patek Museum in Geneva and Patek very graciously provided not only a private tour guide, but also gave me the unheard of opportunity to take photos. Unfortunately, I've had an incredibly busy Spring and Summer, and it's taken me FAR longer than I thought to finish editing the photos and get the photo report up here on WTF. The good news is, I'm about half-way done with the photo editing - museums are generally less than ideal photo shooting locations due to the lighting, so shooting the Patek Museum was one of the most challenging projects I've ever taken on. However, I think I'll come away with about 50 good photos from the shoot.I hope to have this photo report up in the next week, so stay tuned!
Is there such a thing as a break in period on a new watch? As in should you give it several months/a couple of years to settle in before having it regulated. Or have it serviced after the first year and then move into a 3-4 year service schedule after that?
The iconic Lange Datograph is within my reach but I have to trade in my mint 5110P plus 10k cash. The Dato is in mint condition but 7+ years old and has not been serviced. My 5110P has been serviced by Patek 3 years ago. Thoughts?
Found these videos on youtube and thought I would post them here.Apologies if they have been already.Love this show.Part 1https://.youtube/watch?v=60TG8bifcDcPart 2https://.youtube/watch?v=G8XmqcJhM18
So this week I will be going to pick out a new watch to add to my collection. I currently have a Pepsi gmt master and am looking for something that I can dress up but that can also be worn everyday. My initial thought was a date just 41 in blue or white with domed bezel (undecided on bracelet) or a white Buckley dial. I also have a soft spot for a reverso but I think this might be too dressy for what I'm looking for. I have sold off everything and am committed to having a two watch rotation until my kids stop costing me a fortune. I know the decisions lies with me yadda yadda...But I love hearing the opinions of this great community. Makes me think about things I didn't consider. Merry Christmas to those who celebrate.
