Bell and Ross BR0394-ST-G-HE/SCA wrist watches news:
I pilfered this idea from Doug (BTW Doug, every time I try to type your name it comes out at Dough ) asking Joel what the method to his collecting is. I thought it would be a great idea for a thread. So naturally I steal the idea like a grown adult and ask everyone publicly; what are you doing with your collection? Maybe a picture of the majority of your collection and a brief paraphrase on what you're doing with it. Here is my most recent picture (missing about 12 pieces) of my collection. The method behind my madness left quantity and is now more about quality. Gruen is my favorite vintage and I love so many of their designs, so I collect them most heavily, but have really migrated to almost purely vintage. I haven't bought a modern watch in almost two quarters and haven't really found anything worth buying (that I can afford). So, I used to buy to have more pieces and found that was the biggest way for me to waste my time. I was just trying to get as many as possible without having a
That is my father Longines, which he bought few years ago. It's 14k gold with manual movement. In my opinion, it is one of the most beautiful Longines I have ever seen.
Good morning/day/evening,Some 5 month ago i sent my 1948 longines to Switzerland for the service:watchtalkforums.info/foru...itzerland.htmlAbout a week ago it came back. I made a few "FAT" and noticed that each time i could wind crownfor between 10-17 revolutions before it stops , after which the watch was ticking for only 6-10 hours ( for the last 2 days it was : 6-10 revolutions vs. 6 hours). I did't applied any extra force on crown during the winding process.I contacted the local longines representative , told him this story and he sugested to send the watchto him for the examination ( it has 1 year warranty). What is your opinion for the possible problem ?Thanks in advance,Leon
Hello fellow Breitling TRF,Would you weigh into a deal of trading my two SuperOcean Breitlings for a 2006 Sea-Dweller without papers or box plus $2K?I know the answer but feel fellow enablers' advice always helps either way...thanks!
Crazy little hobby of ours. I was paying for lunch today when I noticed an awesome vintage Pepsi GMT on Jubilee on the wrist of the person next to me. Told him sweet watch. He thanked me and said it was his grandfather's. How cool is that? Looking forward to passing my Sub on to my future child one day. Sorry for the bad pic! Just wanted to snap something quick as we were both taking our orders to go.Josh
