Last week, WatchTime attended the “global dynamic launch” of the Lamborghini LP 700-4 Aventador Roadster in Miami as a guest of Blancpain, which partnered with Lamborghini in 2009 to establish the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo single-make race series. While there, we had the opportunity to speak with Lamborghini CEO Stephen Winkelmann, who answered questions about the new car and the future of the Blancpain partnership.Click below to watch our interview with Lamborghini president and CEO Stephen Winkelmann. Wife's watch after three years is now showing signs of losing more time. The AD relayed this is within the normal period to have the first service. The service center they referred me to has this service interval priced at $350. This is the first mechanical I've needed to have serviced so I'm not aware what is the usual range to pay. Full disassembly, clean, lube and adjustment, along with polishing of the case. I don't know if the watch will require this level of service every 3-4 years and that has me unsure of the long term upkeep. I was also interested in possibly having the rotor engraved with her name. From my initial discussion, this seems like a prohibitive cost but I dunno what this type of custom work entails. The watch brand new is $1,200 so my spending a lot on it doesn't make sense. Your thoughts?
So, I am new to your site, and I'm likely a watch newbie. Brand has never been an issue to me, I like my Fossil. Here's my issue. My wife has a Cauny. I can't not find a serial number or a model on it. She just recently lost a piece of the band. She loves the watch and I can't find anyone in Canada that can fix it. Any help would be appreciated. This is the watch....
Hi!New guy first post!I was hoping someone here my be able to give me some info on my watch. It is a SS cased, white faced Nicolet Chronograph that my wife and daughter gave me for Father's Day a couple years ago.The front lists it as water resistant to 50M-165ft and a Japanese Movement. The back says NC 1072, 09 VD53, Japan Movement.I was purchased at a loal jewelry store that was going out of business. It came in another company's box and with no paperwork.I have been unable to really find anything out about it, and can't find a website for the manufacturer. I can find a couple of retailers selling them though. It has been reliable so far, keeping reasonably accurate time, even though it's got it's share of bumps and scratches. As it came out of the box though, the chrono reads about -2:06 when it is reset. As in the hands move counter clockwise past the vertical 60 mark to positions behind the marks and in the case of the chrono second hand past the 55 second mark.Any info you can
Well, not exactly, but it could do! Cheers, Bill P.
