another EL arrival
I got my WTF EL yesterday at the post office,I approached the door at the PO and the lights were going off ,it was 12:03,thankfully the kind woman that was about to lock the door let me in. I am pleasantly happy with the appearence of my new watch.I looked at it with my lupe as I always do,the engraving was perfect,the fit and finish is flawless,the dial has a nice clean appearence and easy to read.overall I love this watch.My only beef is that the crown is difficult to wind,but as mentioned by others,the smooth design of it looks better to me than a knurled crown would.The leather stap is beautiful and comfortable,I actually like the buckle on this particular design of watch.This size is perfect for its design,it has a slight chunk look about it,so it doesn't look too dressy.My new EL is certainly going to get a lot of wear. Thanks to Tom and everyone else who came together to make this special deal happen.I will treasure this special timepeice and wear it proud Here are some shots o

TAG cal 'S' any good?
Hi, I've seen a new TAG Aquatimer (non chrono) with day/date and it's a calibre 'S' It's a really nice watch, although the bracelet and particuarly the clasp are a littel cheap IMHO Is this a good calibre of a low spec, entry level movement? I know their cal 17 is a good one and of course the cal 36 & 360's. Anyone?
