Omega Omega 40949 wrist watches news:
Welcome to episode two of Talking Watches. Last month, we sat down with singer, songwriter, and friend of HODINKEE Mr. John C. Mayer to talk about some of his favorite timepieces, and how he got into collecting. Today I'll be showing you part of my conversation with another young watch collector, who happens to shoot a mean three – former national college basketball player of the year, and current LA Clipper, Mr. J.J. Redick. 1 OF 9 J.J. Redick isn't your typical professional athlete, from a horological standpoint. And we noticed that very early on, when we we began following him on Instagram. J.J. has truly excellent taste, and an appreciation less of oversized, flashy pieces that dominate the wrists of the players in the league in which he plays, and more of traditional watchmaking in vintage sizes. For example, one of his favorite watches is the F.P. Journe Chronometre Bleu. 2 OF 9 That may not mean much to most of you, but to even know who
maybe a stupid question, why are some screwdown crown`s treaded on the outside of the crown/stemtube and some on the inside?i`ve noticed that my seatime is treaded on outside while my superocean and PO is on the inside.depthrating something too do with it?Thanx
Hi all,I was just wondering if its normal to be able to hear the rotor winding the watch when its on your wrist? If I'm writing quietly I can here it wind which is a first for me having only had Breitlings and Rolexes which are silent.Cheers
I purchased a Colt in the Dubai boutique back in October 2014, all worked fine until Jan 2015 where I noticed the chronograph second hand, when reset, stopped at the 37 seconds marker and not at 12 o'clock. After handing it in to the service centre, which I will add were very professional, they offered a replacement movement which I declined so they replaced with a new Colt which I received in March 2015.So, we come to January 2016. Again, the watch has been working fine but now the Chronograph second hand is stopping at the 58 second marker. Yesterday I took it to Tunbridge Wells service centre, which coincidentally is a few minutes away from work, where they said they will treat as urgent due to my history. Is anyone else aware of this issue? Or have had similar issues? I am guessing they will want to replace the movement again?
My dads birthday is in October and I want to buy him a Patek. The only thing is he doesnt like to where bulky watches or watches in gerneral. Hes told me if he were to wear a watch it would be a patek. Im not a professional on Pateks so if someone could show me some pics of wrist shots of simple Pateks would be very helpfull. Lets see'em
