- This watch is a classic. It can be worn out in the backcountry or in the boardroom. It is elegant and stylish, but practical. Also, the quality is superior.

- Band too tight. Must manually adjust watch for different time zone or change to or from Daylight Savings time. Unfortunately, a rather poor value for it's price.

Breitling A1732024/B868-diver-pro-ii-black-folding wrist watches news:
A few weeks back, we took you inside the new Madison Avenue Seiko boutique to show just how special its offerings would be. The response has been incredible, and last night, we invited some of our dedicated, Seiko-loving friends to join us in a private HODINKEE celebration of this new mecca of horology in mid-town NYC. 2 OF 46 The packed house was complete with young collectors and old, seasoned and newbies. The range of interests spanned as wide as what Seiko had to offer, with not only countless Seiko 5 and divers on hand, but several hi-beat time-only pieces and many GMT's. 3 OF 46 One of the highlights was certainly the limited edition green dial hi-beat GMT that we featured on HODINKEE here. The crowd was unanimous in its praise for the piece, and some called it the most beautiful GMT they'd ever seen with this particular green dial. 4 OF 46 On hand to demonstrate just what makes Seiko so special was a master craftsman who came in
Well 2 things...one I'm running around this morning trying to get stuff ready for my mom's b-day party...two I'm wearing a watch I've never worn before. It's watch that was one of my grandfathers and it's a Timex Automatic. Really beat up but its about the only vintage I have wanted to wear that I own. So last night I wound it up and set the time. This morning it was right on -ish and so when I went to get the propane I stopped at the drugstore and got a leather strap for it.Oh and third...hopefully I can get a few more shots today...Here we are taking out the trash and moving the "babies" out into the sun. (I'm a novice gardener and this year we will have two gardens)...:DBelow: you can see how scratched it is; in full sun.Now off to finish the laundry.
I like the look on both of the watches. My question is which one should I go with? Which one have a better movement? Any suggestion will be very appreciated. [non-sponsor links removed - please read our guidelines]
This question is for all you thin watch fanatics like me...How thin does the 114060 wear in YOUR experience? After owning an ETA Black Bay for well over a year I¡¯m ready to let it go for a Rolex. Naturally, the watch I¡¯m drawn to most is the 114060. I¡¯ve tried it on a bunch of times and am seriously considering it. Do any of you feel that it¡¯s too tall? I love my Black Bay but my main complaint is that it¡¯s all midcase.Bonus question... to those of you who¡¯ve owned 5 & 6 digit sub nds. Can you tell a difference on case height?Thank you!
Hi everyone! Has anyone ever been to Baselworld with a press pass? I have been invited to go accompany a firm, and I will be given a press pass. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what I could expect.Really looking forward to this
