- My BF actually loved this watch and the best part about it, is that there were enough links in the watch, he actually had to get it sized (he has a 9 inch wrist)

Hello AP watch lovers,We all start our watch addition somewhere and mine has been developing quite fast.I own currently only a Rolex SUb 2 liner 14069 and an Omega Speedmaster that I picture below for wrist reference and would like to enlarge my watch rotation with a different style (considering also a white Daytona but upfront comes the RO).My wrist is around 17cm which equates to 6.75 inches and therefore my preference goes to smaller watches (say max 40 as my sub above).I was eying the RO 14790 blue dial , a 36 with JLC caliber , thinner that the new 37 version, which in the condition that I look for ( full set and not polished or minimal ) is between 10 and 12k - never tried this watch and will most probably not have the a chance to try it before buying.or the new that I tried this weekend 15450 (37 and in house movement and thicker case )in blue dial below:l which has a retail of 17k€.I know most of you will advise to go for 15202 but I strongly believe would be too big for my ta
hi all, I would like to understand something that I have seen many times and that I cannot explain to myself, this watch seems to be in good condition, according to them never polished, but on the third pic on the bottom of the case especially on the side where the number is the metal seems completely worn out, how the hell is that possible, we're talking about a part of the watch which when is worn can't have any contact dings, scratches or bumps, how in the hell can it get so worn out? I've had a few watches for many years, even one or 2 for around 20 years, well on that part they are fine, but on the outer part they have their fair share of scratches, the exact contrary to this one and I've seen it in many occasions and never could get how that's possible, anyone care to explain would be welcomed. Thanks guys https://.chrono24/en/audemars...-id3748687.htm
HelloI would like to hear some different views on the above please.I'm interested in buying a Speedmaster Professional Moon watch. I know they come in two different versions, one with a Hesalite crystal and one with a Sapphire crystal. I'm told that the Hesalite is easier to scratch, but in the real world, how much is it easier to scratch?I have an older meteorite dial version of the watch and I find it very comfortable and accurate. My wife has a Silver Snoopy version and loves that as well. I think they both have Sapphire crystals. Can I just have some of your views about the two different versions please? Is one recommended over the other etc? Also, what sort of discount could I aim for in the UK?Thanks very much.
Got called up by my local boutique to see their new DSOTM with the diamond bezel and diamond markers. As good luck would have it - I had my original DSOTM on so could photo the two side by side. What do you folks think?FWIW - I think the diamonds would be better suited to the Grey with the platinum face. But you can't buy what they don't make. I liked the satin croc strap and deployment clasp.
