Cartier W20012C4 wrist watches news:
The meteorite Reserve SAN to start out with:Thanks Rob,I've decided to switch to something a lot less heavy,Charlies pix gave me a hankering.
So I saw this last week & I just had to get it......on my wrist for a shot.. (What, you think I can afford that thing!?!?!? )Here's a back shot. Look at that detail! Seriously though, it was absolutely beautifully crafted. It's the first time I've seen on in a store, so I had to try it on. If I had the means, I would have definitely bought it. Spent about 45 minutes with the manager (who's also a big watch buff) and he took me around showing me the watches that are a bit more special. Though he knew I wasn't going to buy one, I think he was just happy to have a customer who understood what the watch was & not just a name. We looked at JLC, Choppard, IWC, Breitling & AP's to name a few.. VERY nice Unfortunately, I didn't think to get shots until the end.
just sold my Seamaster, suddenly have a craving for orange faced diver Under $1000I'm looking for suggestions (from personal experience)- thanks
I saw this watch a couple of days ago in an airport. Don't think I'd seen it close to before and didn't realize how nice it was. I'd always fancied a Sub, but it's just too small on my wrist. Think maybe the Breitling fits the bill.In a London AD, what % off MSRP do you think is likely to be given? Don't want to pay over the odds, but don't really know what it should go for.
I purchased my first PAM (388) not too long ago (great transaction). It¡¯s a year old and has a year left of the warranty. After 3 weeks it stopped running (just stopped....) Despite winding, checking the positions etc it would not start again. I sent it to the Dallas repair facility (after speaking to them). The customer service was wonderful. But now I got the written estimate and they said they recommended a $260 maintenance service (but said the finding was that the movement accuracy was within specifications). I need to call them tomorrow for more clarification, but wouldn¡¯t it still be covered under warranty? And if the findings were that it¡¯s running within specs, why would it need a maintenance service after a year? I¡¯ll find out if they got it running again but I was curious what people¡¯s thoughts were about this. You can pm if you¡¯d like. I did send the warranty booklet with the watch. hoping it was just an error. Thanks in advance for any information or thoughts (or advice).
