In 1983, Casio launched its first G-Shock watch, a product that reinvented the image of the digital wristwatch and, with its unprecedented shock-resistant case, revolutionized watch case design as well. This year, the Japanese brand kicks off a year-long celebration of its most iconic timepiece leading up to the G-Shock’s 30th anniversary in 2013. The first wave, introduced at Casio’s “Shock the World” event in New York last week, is a quintet of limited-edition models in some of the most popular G-Shock styles (“the best-selling styles over the past 30 years,” according to Casio America chairman and CEO Shigenori Itoh), all sporting distinctive red gloss or matte red finishes. I need some advise please. I have a vintage Omega Seamaster from 1979, its in top condition, BUT some how moisture has gotten inside and is seaming up the glass, i thought it had dried out, but its back. I have no idea how it happened, but i live in New York and it has not stopped raining here for weeks now, moisture is everywhere.Anyway, can anyone recommend a solution, i know the best thing to do is take it straight to a repair store, NYC has some great places but also its fair share of dodgy places, Can anyone recommend a great repair store? Also im on my way to vegas for a few days so i wont be around, Can anyone recommend a temporary solution to stop any further damage?Thank so much, as always i appreciate all your help.Cozzer

Help a newbie find a classy looking watch!
I'm really glad I discovered this place! I just turned 20 and was thinking it is about time to buy a decent watch. My wrists look very naked by themselves these days! Problem is, I really don't know where to start. One of the big issues with me is that I have really thin wrists, so most watches don't look good on me.I'm looking for a very low-profile watch with a small face and a leather/nylon band. I'm definitely looking for something low-key and classy, nothing flashy at all. I'm a vegetarian and prefer not to wear leather, so if I get a leather band I will probably end up swapping it out. (Yes I know, it's kind of stupid since it's already purchased...)What I've liked so far has been the Oris Classic and Raymond Weil Traditional lines. A few stores in my area carry the Raymond Weil line, but not some of the higher end automatics. There's also one store that sells Oris, but I haven't gotten a chance to go take a look yet.Any other good suggestions? I want to spend about $50

need help again 217 or 368?
I love the two and want to sell some of my watches to finance this, want to sell 028 brand new, Cartier and Breitling not new, the 217 dial is great and it's a legend, but in very good state 14.000 euros, 368 around 11.000, but 368 is titanium and 8 day panerai movement, where 217 is just ETA, don't care about future prices, just want to know what you guys think, both make me go crazy...
