Seiko SUR113 wrist watches news:
Earlier this year, Swiss watch manufacturer Raymond Weil and Gibson Brands, an American manufacturer of guitars and other instruments, announced their plans to work together to create a special Nabucco timepiece, specifically inspired by the famous self-tuning Gibson SG Standard guitar. Here’s a look at the watch that resulted. The special-edition Raymond Weil Nabucco timepiece has four key design elements that signify it as a Gibson Special Edition. First, the iconic Gibson logo is located just above the Raymond Weil plaque in the center of the dial, replacing the standard applied 12 o’clock hour marker. The second design element is the six grooves that encircle the edges of the black galvanic dial, symbolizing the strings of a Gibson SG Standard guitar. The third is the Gibson logo incorporated into the custom oscillating weight that is visible through the clear sapphire caseback.? This is what I would call a nice line extension. In this article from my blog, Watch-Insider, I offer a look at three newly released Breitling watches (or ※Instruments for Professionals,§ as Breitling would call them): the Breitling Transocean Chronograph Edition, Breitling Chronomat 44 Raven, and Breitling Galactic 44. The Breitling?Transocean Chronograph Edition plays with the history of Breitling. Inspired by a model from 1958 (an ultra-precise, anti-shock, anti-magnetic and super-water-resistant watch that was released during the boom in intercontinental air travel), the Transocean reflects the spirit of great journeys and luxury long-haul aircraft. The watch features a two-tone dial with two vintage-style counters, and a double caseback complete with a cover. The Breitling Transocean Chronograph Edition limited series reinterprets the “contemporary-classic” style of the Transocean line; it is a tribute to Breitling*s long history of making chronographs. Well stopped by Govberg in Philly today and hit up the second floor with the good stuff after looking at the Rolexes, Balls and Cartiers on the bottom floor. I'm beat but I tried own 5-7 AP, some VC PP, Roger Dubois, and a Brietling tourbillon. I'll elaborate tomorrow but catching the Zzzs now. Just wanted to share before bed.
Saw these today
Been out of the AD browsing and such for a while and I'm sure this has been discussed but I was at a luncheon today and while wondering around the mall I stopped by the ADand their cases were very sparse with hardly anything. This is the nations capital so that surprised me. Anyone know the reason for this?
