Hublot 301.PX.130.RX wrist watches news:
All,I have not posted a lot on this forum, but I'm hanging around. I rewied the post by Hannes, where he showed pictures of his Air-King 114200 with broader/longer hands (follow link, and scroll down). .info/foru...854#post163854I bought my AK basically on impulse in 2007, since I've always wanted a plain white dialled Explorerand this is sort of a substitute. A problem though, that I obviously share with Hannes, is that I find the hands too small and thin.Seeing Hannes' picture made me decide to change hands as well, but what about a change like this? Is it too much? What about black hands from the White dialled Explorer II?The upgrade with hands from a 36 mm DJ (like what Hannes did) is perhaps more in line with the AK having straight hands - and keeping to the design - rather than making a poor "copy" of an Explorer.Give me some comments before I go ahead and order new hands.Best,AP.S. It is a photoshopped picture, obviously...
I was wondering this today, because mostly I have only seen them use yellow gold. Personally, I think the red gold looks quite nice. Did Rolex just begin using red gold, or have they been doing this for awhile now?
Hi GuysI can now report with a smile that my beloved Pepsi GMT has just arrived in the post from it's timing regulation from Rolex London. Hope the accuracy has now been improved to COSC specs which i'll be delighted with, but I have missed it especially with all the talk on the forum about other people's love for the Pepsi. I will post some pics later in the state it came back in, etc, but in the meantime let's celebrate the Pepsi GMT.Hey GJ - Do your work!
Thought I would share a few pics of a watch I bought on ebay in October. I was attracted to this Oskar Emil Phoenix simply because I loved the way it looked with the 21k plated steel band & sporting a greenish-cream colored dial. I didn't know what to expect, but upon receiving it in the mail, I fell in love with it...Hope I didn't bore anyone...just getting my feet wet.I have some other pieces including, 2 Bulova Marine Stars, a Citizen Eco Drive Minute Repeater, Seiko Alarm Chronograph, Akribos XXIV Skeleton...Next week I hope to be adding a new piece or two to my budding collection...looking at Hamilton Jazz Master, Bulova Millennia Minute Repeater, Accutron Gemini, and Accutron Oxford...one or two of these will be coming home to daddy.
This new site is well worth a visit for any fan of Omega:nd just because every thread is better with pictures, here is one of my vintage Omegas.
