- I was more than happy with this watch! I ordered it for someone but am thinking about keeping it for myself. It's different, elegant, and is exactly how you see it in the picture. I recommend this watch!!

Baume & Mercier 6900 wrist watches news:
Hi GangI wonder if I'm the only one feeling a tad disappointed that Basel '09 did not unveil what some of us have been hoping for, namely:the Explorer II with maxi dial, upgraded clasp.Anyone with any views on this?
Hi All,Last night I decided to give two of my new Rolexes a bath! After doing so I decided to look them over with a loupe and to my surprise I noticed under the light that there were some very few if not scarce tool mark scratches on the hands!!!! On both watches, which by the way are brand new.....A 116610LV and a 116710!! I decided not to look at my other Rolexes as I would probably faint if I found the same thing, which I¡äm pretty sure I would!! Is this normal?? Note that these scratches can not be seen by naked eye, only using a loupe and under certain light conditions!Ed
This is a nice band that perfectly matches the design of the Pebble Steel. It is not as heavy as I thought it would be, but that is a good thing. I am used to bands of this caliber having half links. There is also no minor adjustments on the on the closure mechanism. Since there are no half links and no adjustments, it is either too tight or too loose for me.Simple review. Quality is acceptable for the price, however, the fact I no longer have hair where the watchband rest is a bit unsettling. The color matches well, looks good but the function of a depilatory device is annoying.e2bdcfbea884d332fa3e7faa87bf0b02.jpg
I posted this on TZ but I think we need one on TRF too. Let's see em, folks! Be they steel, forged carbon, ceramic, on rubber, on a bracelet, on a strap, in a house, on a train, in a car...I do like AP Divers, Jordan I am.
As some of you may know I have had a few 5712s. My first Patek was the 5712g, a very understated and imo underappreciated watch. Last August I bought a 5712a which I planned to wear for my wedding and didn't. Regardless, I loved it. Ended up trading it for a larger acquisition. Everything happens for a reason, Today, I am happy to announce that I have completed my 5712 desire with a new and sealed 5712a Tiffany. It seems that throughout my years of collecting, it's the pieces I have ended up with three times are the ones that are meant to be. That being said, cheers to the 5712 that will remain.JPS
