Omega 12320246055004 wrist watches news:
In an effort to justify the substantial premium in their pricing, as well as prove the performance of their products, luxury watch brands go out of their way to prove that they can live up to consumer expectations in what is an extremely competitive industry. A more tangible way of proving their claimed superiority is by providing certificates which, through a series of tests, ensure that each submitted timepiece complies with strict accuracy and-or aesthetic standards. Timelab's new watch certificate program is called "Observatoire Chronometrique+" and it offers a certificate claimed to be more thorough and comprehensive than that issued by the established COSC (the Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute) and more widely available than the Geneva Seal. The Observatoire Chronometrique+ is a new initiative in which any and all Swiss-made mechanical watches can be submitted, and they test fully assembled watches, not just for their chronometric performance, but also their power rese

I see a lot of people bemoaning their sales person when it comes to watches...and I have experienced it too...however...The other day I went into a Costco to and of course went to the watch display. There were a lot of Tags, and Oris watches and Breitlings, but I was shopping for another cheapo...anyways the woman asked if I wanted to look at any.She imediately noticed my Hamilton Chrono and remarked tha it was a nice watch and...(get this) contained a nice movement; the 7750. Hmmm...is this a joke?...nope she actually was very well versed in the watches she was overseeing and the brands and movements of most, including the quartz movements of several of the Tags...although I couldn't keeep up with her, as her knowledge either exceeded mine or I lost track of what she was talking about...she did point out on of the Breitling also had the 7750, but she said it was modified, which I think is true.Anyhow I was suprised...I also noticed that Costco seems to have Breitling and Tags and Or
This is the first thread I have ever started so please ignore any improper or silly questions. I am also very new to nice watches and really need the opinions and help of those much more knowledgeable and experienced than I am. I have enough saved to buy another watch and am having trouble deciding between the new SD 43mm or the Explorer II 42mm. I have all the technical and price difference so guess my question is simple. I would love to say I will keep this watch forever and pass it down to my son someday, however, I can't say that for sure. In your opinion, which of these watches will hold or increase in value the best in the next 5 or 10 years? Is one a better long term investment than the other. Thanks so much.
