What would you prefer? Do you like to wind up your mechanicals everyday, and be assured that it will run atleast for the next 24 hours even if you don't wear it or do you like to wear your automatics for 12 hours a day, form a connection with it and when you retire it for the night, say in your mind "see you in the morning darling"Well, I guess I've wandered too much, tell me what would you buy and why?

I've been making a few posts here and there, but I finally got a chance to take some quick photos of my current watch "collection" (or the nicer ones that I wear anyway).Nixon Super Rover SS:I've had this watch for about 5 years now. The crystal is well-protected, and it's been basically bomb-proof, other than a broken pin (which is amazing because the pins are super beefy). I sent it back to Nixon (without any warranty documentation) to be fixed, as the pin was not replaceable. They said they would fix it at a small charge, but ended up sending me a new watch at no cost (I could tell it was new because mine had a few scratches on it. It even survived a 30mph pocket bike crash.Bulova 96G59My girlfriend bought this for me for Christmas a few years ago. Being an engineer, I am normally more of a "tech" style watch fan compared to a dress style, but I love this watch. It's just the right amount of bling without being too flashy for nice events. Had my watch repair man text me saying "two watches are done and ready for pickup." I cannot for the life of me remember which ones he was working on. Dropped off a gorgeous art deco Benrus from the 30's a few months ago. Needed the hands adjusted and a new stem.....Could it be a 50's Hamilton auto that wouldn't wind??? Or maybe aa vintage Longines tank that needed a dial refinish and case repair???? Which reminds me, I need to send him a couple of wristalarms that need a COA. You guys ever forget which watches are in the hospital???

I'm relatively new to Omegas and I was completely unaware of this model until today. I was at my AD and checking out their preowned collection. This watch immediately caught my attention and I can't even describe how cool I think this dial is. If anyone has a chance to check this out, I'd recommend trying it on. I believe it's referred to as the Aventurine dial. Here is the wristshot I took.
