Anyone have any idea what that shiny disk does or covers, on the 324 movement? The one immediately to the right of PATEK PHILIPPE? Most photos I've seen of the movement have it centered, but on my 5711 it's off to almost the side of it.

24mm Ladies Datejust advice
My bride compared her 28mm datejust with a friend��s 24mm and has her heart set on one. Sadly they are discontinued and i cannot get a straight answer from our AD. How long ago were they eliminated and is there a significant risk in buying a 10+ year old model?
