Cartier Cartier 52953 wrist watches news:
Hamilton Watch Company, founded in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 1892, marks its 120th anniversary this year. To commemorate the milestone, Hamilton has collaborated with the National Watch & Clock Museum (NAWCC) , one of the world¡¯s largest museums devoted to the art, science and history of timepieces and timekeeping, to curate a month-long public exhibit of Hamilton archives at New York City’s Tourneau Time Machine. The exhibit, which opened on June 4, takes a look back at Hamilton through the years, and is chock-full of interesting items for watch lovers and history buffs, including photos of the original Hamilton factory and past employees, several vintage timepieces (including a marine chronometer from the 1940s, an original Hamilton Pulsar, and the Ventura model that Elvis Presley wore in Blue Hawaii), dozens of old advertisements, original company newsletters and video testimonials from former employees. All items are either from Hamilton¡¯s archives or on loan from the NAW
Convertible cars are always those that have a folding down top. People associate the term with wearing sunglasses, breezes that increase with a vehicle's speed, and mid-life crisis time. Though when you think about it, the term convertible just means "changeable." Convertible couches are ones that turn into beds for example. And convertible watches are those that turn into something else. There are dozens of convertible watch styles and types. Many of them function to change the look of the watch or dial in some way. Others provide new uses for a wrist watch - such as turning it into a pocket watch. This overview article will simply go over some of the more interesting or famous convertible watch. Most of the seriously sophisticated convertible watches are a modern phenomenon, but the concept has been around for a long time. Just think about how much the look of a watch changes when you merely change the strap.Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso WatchesThe original Reverso flipped its case around
I've been here for nearly a year, and in that time my collection has grown quite a bit! Since it will be a few months before my next addition I thought that now would be a good time to do a State Of The Collection (SOTC) post. I have never done one before, so I'll just feel out how best to do it as I go along.I guess I might as well start with what got me to this point before jumping in to the watches. I remember getting my first watch when I was 5 years old. We were living in England at the time and my parents promised that they would buy me a watch when I learned to tell the time properly. Well, I learned around the time we went on a campervan tour through Europe, so while we were in Switzerland they bought me my first watch! I still have it in a drawer, the crystal is a bit scratched and it no longer runs and it doesn't have a strap any more, but it is still there.Through the years I always loved watches and took every opportunity to stare in shop windows at the watches. I got a Sei
I worked hard and long for the Omega planet ocean Orange Crono but after many days of talks..and frankly the unavailability of the the color choice for my time frame I bought the limited edition or so i was told Planet Ocean GMT instead! I'm so happy with my purchase! here are some pics of this beautiful watch.next perchance is the blue rubber band with white stitching! love the look of that but at 400 bucks with the buckle it may be awhile.
I shared my new rugged Pam 024 Submersible, now for the more refined Panerai PAM 113. I¡¯m a sucker for White Dials, so out went my white IWC AT 2000 and in comes its replacement the PAM 113. The dial is a Bright White which I love, the filter I used soften the dial color a bit. I almost grabbed a Pam 114 but I kept leaning towards having the third hand so the 113 it was! Now I'm going strap crazy and must reign myself in!
