Cartier WJ1192LZ wrist watches news:
You've put some money aside, perhaps even disposed of something in your collection to make way for the next acquisition. You walk into your AD or are about to place an order for it when you spot something else that you'd like.Has this ever happened to you?It did in a way to me, back in the middle of September 2005. Ben had just bought John's Great White SMP GMT as I recall and posted some very nice pictures of it. John as you know has reviewed both this and the GMT Noir. Then I saw some very attractive lume shots by Keith Dowling on TZ and that did it for me so I ordered it, a day before I was due to attend a wine tasting. Following the event, I wandered into a dealer who was new to me in the Bond St area and saw the Blue 42.2mm AT. The way the light reflected off the brushed surface of the dial got me hooked immediately. The dealer suggested I cancel the order for the GMT but I had already ordered it and a pledge is a pledge.Well pals - ever experienced something like this?Let's talk
I stopped by a local AD yesterday and let the owner "fondle" my PloProf. Although he carries Omega (also Breitling and Rolex), he had never seen the PloProf "in the flesh". He called his sales people over for me to explain all the details and features. He even took the watch into the restroom and turned off the lights so that he could check out the bezel lume.He took it upon himself to admit that the PloProf was much more balanced and more comfortable on his wrist than the Deep Sea. I suspect he will have one in inventory soon.Fr. John?
I found this blog and info about the AmEx and QoS. Centurion.~JB
This showed up some time ago - but life has been hectic to say the least. I have craved a triple date moon phase for some time. I have been scouting several sources and have gotten close, only to lose as my threshold for pain ($) hit before someone else's. I was drawn to this "working" watch because the case and dial were in such good shape. The watch was sold "for repair" but "working strongly". I assumed somewhere in the middle was reality and was disappointed the watch ended closer to the repair end of the deal.I am missing a second hand and will probably let that be at this point. My watch maker has the watch and is going to give me an estimate - I am hopeful...On with the pics...The dial is in excellent shape considering its age. The hands have seen better days however. The pushers all appear to work fine and the day, date, month and moon phase operate as expected (although I may need to brush up on a foreign language). The case is in very good shape - not as crisp as some, b
