Cartier W20108Y1 wrist watches news:
Just got back from watch shop to have some links removed from my new 2254.50 Seamaster and asked the guy what he thinks of Omega watches. He replied "just O.K." I said what do you mean? He says "They have crown problems, clasp problems and movement quality isn't that great" He then pulls out a clasp that broke that was brought in for repair. $140 his cost to replace. Thin part broke and spring. Poor design he says on the clasp. "Don't set and wind the crown to much, they break easly" I told him I didn't expext Rolex quality when purchasing, but was hoping for a Swiss made watch to be of a higher quality than what he was telling me. Should I be worried? Anyone have issues with thier Seamasters or other newer Omegas? Thanks! I still love my Seamaster!
Got my new "Men's Health" magazine in the mail the other day and as a WIS I couldn't help notice what he was sporting on his wristlooks like a Sub, right?at least it looked like one to meHe may be a WIS too, as he's pulling a classic WIS move, casually rolling up his shirt cuffs exposing his watch for all to viewHe's in one of the most disturbing movies I've ever seen "In the Company of Men". One of my most favorite portrayals of evil.Cheers,Steve R"IN THE COMPANY OF MEN is about a psychological love triangle set within 90s corporate culture.Chad and Howard, two young white collar executives from a home office in a nameless city, are first seen en route to a six-week business trip at a branch office. Both are frustrated by their lot in life passed over for promotions by younger colleagues at work and rejected by their respective long term girlfriends so they formulate a plan that will bond them in their pain in order to ultimately feel better about themselves as men. All they need n

After wandering the backstreets of independent makers like FPJ, Ferrier, and Moser, I've returned to the old reliable, and in my humble opinion, still the standard setter. I admit to being a little blas¨¦ about my 5205 and 5167 for a while now. But I think they just needed some more wrist-time as I've warmed considerably to the 5167 and am enjoying the 5205G again. So that lead me to pick up one my old desirables - the 5396G. Love it! Reminds me of one of my grails, the classic 3448, which sadly has increased in price over the years to quite ridiculous levels. Dressed it down on grey leather strap for now. Also, finally gave in to the Pam 47mm urge and picked a 424 no date. Black strap goes lovely with the polished case. 38mm and 47mm. Small and big delights!IMG_1295.jpgIMG_1300.jpgIMG_1302.jpg
