- Great watch but very large face and very heavy watch. It would be great for outdoors or sports ,but was to heavy for everyday use for me.

- I ordered this watch online for a special occasion to wear with a black sheath dress from Adrien Papell. This watch is beautiful! Love, love. So elegant. Could not be sure from pic if it would be dressy enough but it is.

Likewise, luminescent material ¨C such as SuperLuminova ¨C was invented to improve night-time legibility of watches. And when it comes to night time legibility, micro gas tubes filled with tritium are unbeatable because they are self-charging (meaning they do not need to be charged by a light source to glow) and can glow on their?own for up to two decades or more. This month, we pay a unique?visit to the workshops of MB Microtec, the world¡¯s only?supplier of micro gas tubes to watch brands, to see how these tiny self-illuminating tubes are made.Speaking of micro gas tubes, Ball is probably the high-end watch brand most famous for using them. In fact, the use of these tubes has?become synonymous with the brand. But micro gas tubes aside, Ball is also?well known for mak

I am a Rolex/Breitling owner and have always purchased pre-loved. I am now expanding my horizons and IWC is the direction I am headed. This has been easy with my Rolex(s) because the preloved market, and sources of information seems much more robust then with IWC. I want an IWC for my next watch and am looking for everyones expertise. If I knew how to do a poll I would.Questions:1) Did you purchase from an AD, gray market, or pre-loved?2) If purchased from an AD what is an acceptable discount to try for in terms of percentage. (10%, 15%, 20%?) Any other advice on pricing and selecting an IWC? I am looking at the Inge/Aquatimers but am open to suggestions.
I just recently joined WTF along with several others, most of whom you'll find in the Omega Forum. However, I own a modern Hamilton (40mm Khaki Field Mechanical OfficersI can't seem to find a photo right now) and I am very interested in the brand, both historically and currently. Anyway, you'll see me around, and I look forward to discussing Hamiltons withand more imporantly, learning about them fromall of you.
How are the increments supposed to be used on the bezel of a dive watch? Would it not be better if they went the other way? So then, If I had an hour, I would put the dot on the hour hand and watch it count down. At any time, I would be able to tell how much time left until my air runs out...
