TAG Heuer TAG Heuer 5290 wrist watches news:
Great watch. Enjoy the pics!
My first time here and I just have a quick question. I've got about $2000 to spend on a good watch. I've gone back and forth and I keep coming back to Omega. I absolutely love the Omega Seamaster 300M in the Black wave dial (212.30.41.20.01.002). I like the blue as well, but I think black is more versatile. I've read a few articles about Omega's 2500 co-axial movement not being as good as the 1200. I can save some money going with the older 1200 movement, but I really want something close to new condition. Now, I know this watch is closer to $3000 new, but I've found a few pre-owned ones in very very good condition closer to $2k.I guess here's my question:First, is the Omega a good choice for the price range? There are other watches I like more, but my budget is what it is. Am I missing something else that's out there that may be a better value? I like one of the Tag Aquaracers, but not nearly as much as the Omega.Second, what is your honest opinion of the Omega? I've read m
Just curious if anyone can clarify this for me.......I took two links off the integrated bracelet on my ROC, one from each side (so to balance the amount of adjustable links on each side of the bracelet). Afterwards I tried linking the two together but realized they are actually not the same in terms of the side where the chamfer edge is on. This is a bit odd to me as I'm used to linking my additional links from my Rolex's together and putting them in a mini ziploc bag.....so now I have to remember which side of the bracelet my links came off? Btw, thank you Thomas I realized I had to snatch a 39mm before it goes out! What a thing of beauty I must say......p.s. will post a wrist shot soon!
I am considering purchasing my first ever Breitling. I am not sure which model to buy and was wondering which model is likely to hold its value best? Thanks!
First, I'd just like to say this: The new TRF Patek forum has the same impact as the Rolex discussion forums. Serious case of what I call Watch Acquisition Syndrome (WAS). We all need help and this is the most dysfunctional group therapy session ever. Anyway, I want to get some input on my next PP purchase.I'm looking at the following:* 5140P or J: I fear it is too close in appearance to my 5146P, which I absolutely love and am unlikely to get rid of (among the reasons is the beautiful dial finish/color, unique to that model). But I love the watch for its functionality.* 5960P (gray dial): A modern PP icon. Beautiful. Some people say, Well the chronograph function is useless to most. Get a Patek 5205. No. I don't care. I'll use it to time eggs or something.Champagne problems for sure. Options I've discarded:* 5270G: Amazing watch. Totally different price point. Would be difficult to justify to my fiance and to a certain extent, myself. I'm relatively young (32), and something tells me
