Hi AllMy first post here and Houston kindly invited me here. He was very kind to provide me information and advice on Speedmasters and I thought to return the courtesy and share with the forum here some of my early photographs of my Seasmaster Chrono. I have had this watch for some years and this set of images were taken and published just mid last year. Well, I'm sure most of us know why that is to begin with, but it doesn't hurt to talk it over once in a while. Watches are have very precise movements with tight tolerances, and just like any moving mechanical object, it should have proper lubrication and be free of any debris. Why do you think your car has a few liters of oil and a filter?Ever since I got this watch it had very hard hand winding. Something I thought to be very strange but never got around to get it looked at since I don't wear it TOO often. After the ordeal with the Grand Seiko, I decided to have this one serviced as well, and see if we could figure out what was wrong. I later realized that the watch didn't have the infamous 7750 wobble (well it did have a bit, but not the "normal"), something was definitely up!I took the watch apart (hands, dial, case) and took the movement to Omar (my watchmaker) for service. I'm just venting here so excuse meSome jerk used a skeleton electronic key to get into the truck of my dodge charger rental and stole my omega sea master James Bond auto, my gen 2 orange monster , invicta venom and my Hamilton khaki pilot U may have seen them here on the forumI'm freaking pissedSo if ur traveling no not rent a keyless dodge carI lost about 30 grand of assorted electronic equipment and the aforementioned watchesBetween me and wife and kidsSo note to self only travel with one watchAnd never rent a keyless dodge rental
