Breitling B13352 wrist watches news:
Just wondering if anyone here has experienced this.I'm the kind of guy who has MANY hobbies. Watches, flying paragliders, firearms, R/C planes, the outdoorsthe list goes on and on. Lately I have found that my interests have shifted away from watches almost completely. This is great for my pocketbook as the level of watch buying that I've gotten to is probably one of the most if not the most expensive hobby I have. Anyway, I'm just wondering if this has happened to you and if you eventually (since you're reading this on a watch forum) found your way back to being into watches again. Don't get me wrong, I'm not selling my hard earned collection, I still love them and wear one every day, I've just lost the interest in pursuing the "next great watch" all the time. Anyway, here's a gratuitous picture of what's on my wrist today:And here is what has taken my interest lately: custom Damascus knife making. Have a great rest of your week! -Chad
I have a d.freemont Acugraph chronograph with an ETA 7750 movement. It's almost 2 years old, and until recently I was loving it. On Thanksgiving, it stopped running. I'm fairly sure that it stopped when I pushed the reset button after timing a trip. The only possible premonitory signs I had noticed were that perhaps the pushers had been feeling a little less crisp, and that a few times I had started the timer function only to find out that it had not really started. The watch has been well- treated.I sent it back for repair, & was told that all it had needed was cleaning & adjustment. However, within 24 hours it had stopped again, this time definitely after stopping & resetting the timer. Also at this time, it was not possible to wind it at all (David McCready, from d.freemont had suggested trying to wind it in case it simply hadn't been wound enough before wearing it).I sent it back again, and just got it back on Saturday. Now it runs, but every time I reset the timer,
Looks pretty good to me. Has anyone done this?Pic is from Altierjewelers on Instagram.
This may seem like an obvious and simple question (and maybe it is), but I wanted to know if I am missing anything. Cost differences ignored, is platinum always the preferred choice? All else being equal, I would think a platinum cased watch would be everyones first pick. I'm curious to know if anyone here would not agree with that statement.....and why. Thanks in advance for your comments.
But still a bit concerned that it might be too big for my 6.5ish wrist. Here are some wrist shots for ur reference. You guys can be honest, I'm a grown man. PAM 380 This watch is 45mm in diameter but much slimmer that Luminors with short wire lugs. BP FFAnother 45mm but with short lugs again. A Sub C for good measure. Thanks in advance.
