Cartier w20073x8 wrist watches news:
I have a friend who is looking for a good hiking/camping/all around watch that he can wear and would fit his active lifestyle. The first watch that came to mind was the Tissot T-Touch.I don't know all that much about watches like this so any additional information about the T-Touch would be helpful. I would also be interested in knowing about similar watches that might be good for him.
from a report on the 1945 "ufo" related death of US Army Capt. Thomas Mantell, the pilot of a P-45 Mustang:County coronor, Harry Booker, examined the dead body of Mantell. He noted that Mantell¡¯s wrist watch had shattered at 3:18 p.m. and fixed this as the time of death.

I really like Omega's affiliation with GoodPlanet so I was pretty happy when I got the call that the new Planet Ocean GMT was in. I currently don't have a GMT in the line-up so I had high expectations on this watch, specially after seeing Ruckdee's excellent photos and review. The PO-GMT GP package is beautiful with a big bamboo box. My first impressions was: wow, this is a solid piece. 43.5mm and more than 17mm thick (probably 17.25 or 17.5) and it is heavy. I don't have the exact weight but at least 200 grams, which puts it exactly in the same class as the Rolex Deepsea. Unfortunately, I find that problematic because as much as I adore the DSSD I think it is top-heavy and quite often uncomfortable to wear. The PO-GMT is in the same superweight-class but lacks the adjustable clasp, which is a life-saver on the DSSD. This might not be a big minus for many or most people, it is just that I don't need another DSSD, which I often have to take off my wrist when working at the computer, or i
Hello everyoneI am very excited to announce that I just bought a pre-loved Seamaster GMT 50th Anniversary model.I am very pleased with my luck in finding one in great condition and in my choice :)Will share pics in a few days when I have some time.I would like to know more about the watch as there are some things I cannot explain about the watch:1. it does not have the speedy bracelet but the bond one and yet doesnt have either the speedy or the bond clasp, but a diffrent clasp altogether.why is that so and is taht so on any other models seamasters too?2. what is the significance of the '50 years' marking at the back? was a limited edition but then it doesnt have alimited edition number at the back or was a limited production model? if it was only a limited prodduction model, could you help me with when it was generally made aqnd for how long was this model made?thank you in advance for your kind help :)regards,Asad
