Gwyneth Paltrow Joins Baume & Mercier Family
Gwyneth Paltrow has joined Baume & Mercier as a friend of the brand. The new relationship kicks off with an exclusive cocktail party at SIHH in Geneva on January 17. The multi-talented Oscar-winning actress recently sang her way into the hearts of a new generation with her rendition of Cee-Lo¡¯s Forget You on Glee, and she made her live singing debut performing the title track from her movie Country Strong on the CMAs. Though Paltrow will not be lending her face to advertising campaigns, she will work with Baume & Mercier on various projects, most likely centering on the brand’s Hamptons line. Paltrow has a summer home in the tony resort town town for which the line is named.

Another Fantastic Weekend of Golf and Rolex
I cannot adequately express in words how much I love Summer. This weekend was like a vacation getaway. Friday night we took in the new Batman flick (OK in my book, but not quite up to the critical acclaim it seems to be receiving). Then, I got up about 6am on Saturday and enjoyed a great sunrise breakfast out on the deck. Then I got my son up, we got ready, and then headed to the golf course so we could get a round in before it got too hot. Anyone know what is the lowest priced mens model with the 85xx calibre?Something about that calibre that draws me in.

My First PAM Is....
The 277. . I am a novice when it comes to Panerai's but I just fell in love with the blue dial with the Rose Gold case. Love the GMT, power reserve & chrono complications. I wanted to seek your advise as to the pros & cons of the 277. Will it hold it's value, paid 25K. Is it the right PAM to own with a full inhouse movement and sandwich case. Please let me know your thoughts and would love to hear from past & present owners of the piece.
