Cartier w20056d6 wrist watches news:
As most of you knowA couple of new omegas come with AR coating on both sides of the sapphire. This was indeed a good idea by Omega giving the Sapphire a blue-ish tint. But the down side is greater than the good sides...IT SCRATCHESSo I'm seriously thinking of getting that polywatch to get rid of the AR coating on the outside since Ive got quite a few scratches. You can see one of the 6 or 7 on this picture. It runs from the center of the watch towards the 9 o'clock...Has anyone done this? Do you have pictures of before/after? How should I go about to do it? How safe is it? What are the risks? Thanks guys!
Hello everybody! My name is Rene (from the Netherlands) and just dicovered this great forum yesterday. I am interested in buying the IWC Spitfire Chrono-Automatic Reference IW371702. I am searching all over the internet to get a good price. In my opinion I have two options: buying from a official AD, and getting the IWC company guarantee and making sure I am purchasing a genuine IWC watch. Second option is buying from an online retailer, which has some more uncertainties. NOT being an official dealer, no IWC company guarantee, the risk of buying a "fake" one, BUT for much less money. Hmmm, difficult.Retailprice of this watch with an AD is around 4200usd. Buying from an online retailer I found one (temporarely out of stock though) for 2800usd!!This offer is on [non-sponsor name removed]. Does anyone of you have experience with [non-sponsor removed]? Or do you have any other tips?I am flying regurarely to Miami, so I am also thinking of getting it there.I am hoping to be able to show you
Hi AllI'm just wondering if anyone has had any experience with fossils ceramic watches. I just have a few questions. Is the entire watch ceramic ie dial and band?? Do they scratch easily?? Are they of good quality?? (the one i am buying is $200 so i want it to be a nice watch, obviously its not going to be a swiss watch but still i would like something that won't fall apart in 2 weeks). Lastly i am getting the watch in a black colour so i would like to know if the colour wears from them at all. Thanks for your help
Wow, I really love this watch.Substantial, clean, just beautiful
Hi! First time poster here... please be gentle if I¡¯m asking a question that¡¯s been asked already, but I searched through the forum, and couldn¡¯t find a satisfactory answer. =)I just sent in my Dad¡¯s Datejust 16014 - I believe it¡¯s from the late 70s or early 80s to the Dallas RSC. I don¡¯t ever intend on selling it, but would like to keep it in the family as a heirloom piece. My Dad left the family when I was a child, so I don¡¯t really have any sentimental attachments to it, but it¡¯s just a rather cool piece, it being a relatively old watch. I¡¯m debating whether I should replace the dials and hands. I understand with new dials and hands I will lose the tritium, and the overall faded vintage feel. Considering I don¡¯t intend on selling it, should I just have them replace it? Any other factors that I should take into? Thanks in advance! Btw, just placed an order with my AD for my first new Rolex - an Explorer 1... can¡¯t wait!
