Orange & Blue Breitling - Fake???
Hi guys, I was playing poker at a home game last night, and I see a guy decked out in Florida Gator stuff (I live in Florida) and after we sit down for a second I take a look at his watch and I stare and stare and stare and I thought I could see "Breitling" and finally I asked him and he said yes it was a breitling and he showed it to me a little closer, but i have neeeever seen a breitling like this...not only did the dial look totally different than any watch ive ever seen, the whole dial/bezel was orange and blue, and the band was orange rubber with stainless steel inserts every inch or so??? anyone ever seen anything like this? he says he bought it from a neiman marcus in Orlando....there was also a guy with a solid gold cartier roadster, verry nice

A few days ago I managed to get together enough funds to get another one of the Bernhardt Officer watches. This is the Vintage model, the one with the two tone dial. I received it a day ago, wore it for the day and then decided to go ahead with my plan Yes, I had a plan since the beginning, to change the look of it a bit, I really liked the dial but did not seem to get along with the hands I had purchased already some blued hands for whenever I would have been lucky enough to get the watch, so I went ahead and did the swap. Here is the result. The watch is 44 mm wide, has an Swiss ETA/UNITAS 6497 movement that hand winds. I know that there may be a leather strap that would look better on it, but since I cannot wear them, I have it on a Bond Zulu strap. The watch is large but comfortable since it is not very tall and the case is nicely sculpted to follow the lines of the wrist. I really like these models from Bernhardt Watch Co. Seems like Panerai sales been underwater for quite some time. Will Panerai redeem itself? Or will they continue to produce way to many similar pieces and eventually become a sinking ship?
