Cartier 1710 The Related Reviews:
- The look of the gold finish has a cheap look to it in my opinion. It's very light but it has that cheap feel to it. If I had it to do over again, I wouldn't get it.

- This watch is sooo pretty, I want to wear it to bed. You can see the numbers without glasses, which is a plus for those of us over age 55. Thanks....

Cartier 1710 wrist watches news:
First post in Omega but many in the Invicta. Question is this, has anybody dealt with buying Vintage Seamasters (50's-60's) and restoring them? I am looking to "cough" step up "cough" from Invicta to Omega but do it affordably if you can say that. Looking at the Seamasters in black. If anybody has anyother sources of good info on vintage omegas that would be great.
Wow for the watch and wow on the price. Way out of my league, but what a stunning watch both from the complications and the beauty of the design and craftsmanship. Forgive the quality of the image. This is scanned from a popular watch magazine, Feb edition.Probus Scafusia,Bill
BOOK REVIEWS:*WRISTWATCH ANNUAL 2010*CLASSIC WRISTWATCHES: 2008-2009*THE HISTORY OF WATCHES By: John B. Holbrook, II 4/18/10The fine folks at Abbeville Press recently sent me three of their watch related books for me to review for the WATCH TALK FORUMS community. The first book they sent was one I happen to be quite familiar with - WRIST WATCH ANNUAL.
Hi all, need an advice on the above topic. Hope to hear your opinions. My collection is a 5980R (leather strap) and a Rolex subc no date. Have attached pics that I tried today. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I reckon a guy over 35 in a suit can easily pull of a Sky-D in yellow gold or even an all gold sub. For the under 35 crowd in casual clothing I would say stay the hell away from an all gold watch. Somehow it just gives of the vibe of trying too hard and tacky. What do you guys think?
