Identification of pocket watch, no serial number
Well I've inherited a pocket watch, and I removed the back casing. However, I was unable to find a serial number.Anyone know what year watch this is? It came with a chain attached with a T bar. The T bar has the date Nov 1 1916 engraved, so I'm assuming it's at least that old.

However, I'm not willing to pay the $4,000 to $6,000 premium for one on the gray or second hand market. What kind of time frame am I looking at by going through an AD? This is a great site with great resources and people, so have registered to contribute as I know have the funds to buy my first Rolex! I really like the Submariner 116613LN (gold and steel with black dial) and have messaged a few ADs in the UK and there appears to be a wait list (2 years in Brighton!). I am English but currently live in Houston and have tried on this exact model in one of the ADs in the US. I want to buy in the UK when I am visiting in early Feb 2018 due to USD:GBP exchange rate and tax optimization vs buying in the US.Have I fallen in love with a hard to find model? Or have I just been unlucky with the UK ADs that I have spoken to?Your help would be greatly appreciated!
