Cartier W31077M7 wrist watches news:
Another retro themed watch from Breitling? Who'd have thought it? The brand we love to love, but that itself hates the Internet (just visit their website and you'll know what I mean) brings us a new watch with the Breitling Cosmonaute Automatic Chronograph. Sort of an overly simplistic name if you ask me, but I like the whole connection with space travel. Interestingly enough, the watch has the word "cosmonaute" (cosmonaut) in it that I at least associate with Russian astronauts, but the watch is meant to celebrate an American feat. So what exactly is going on here in the Breitling marketing department? It used to be that watch companies mostly focused on the American space industry, but now you have an incredible shift in focusing on the Russian - and to smaller extent Japanese - space programs. I believe it is because Omega has the US market cornered with the Speedmaster Moonwatch, and Russians are buying watches like mad (and will again as soon as the economy?? rounds itself out a b
Formex is one of those brands I love to notice, but doesn't seem to get the public attention it deserves. Which is a shame given how nice some of their watches are. The mantra of Formex seems to be a melding of watch and race car technology. As such, the signature tech feature that is unique to Formex and found in each of their watches is a patented shock absorption system (they call it a suspension system). It is really simple actually, and nifty. The watch case itself is attached via a vertically gliding fastener to a plate. The plate contains the lugs to which the bracelet is attached. In the event of shock, the watch case is able to independently move a little bit up and down. It's just a cool little system to have. The design of the watch is a combination of tool shed tech and traditional diver watch. From a distance the appearance of the DS 2000 GMT is of a strong looking diving watch. Upon closer inspection you realize all the little features that make the Formex unique. The full
I'm looking for advice on this watch. I have the Khaki field automatic which is 38mm and the mechanical is 44mm. I really want this watch but it looks so big. My wrist is seven and one quarter inches. Is this going to look like a wall clock on my wrist? BTW, I bought my wife her first Hammy for Xmas. Thanks!
Picked up a Speedmaster Racing Carbon 42mm this week from Takuya. Smooth transaction. This will definitely go into the rotation. My college bound boy has already grabbed it & it's on his wrist now. Took a quick iPhone pic.
Hi Guys,I put my name on the Ą°listĄ± at my local Rolex AD for the new SS BLRO. I have a strong purchase history with this AD and said IĄŻll be one of the first it will be offered to once they get one. My current SS lineup includes the SD43, BLNR and Sub-C LV. IĄŻm only going to keep 3 of the above and the BLRO is on the keeper list. Which other two would you keep? Thanks in advance!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
