At A Loss For Words...
Gentlemen, I am speechless! See below for the short version:(Long version) A few weeks ago, I decided to give my Seasmaster a break. I'd worn it every day for two years and the bracelet was showing it. That's when I decided to buy another watch. I originally bought a cheap Casio and then became acquainted with Orient. I ended up buying about 10 different watches ranging from Victorinox to Seiko and Orient. All of these watches are great in their own right, but deep down inside, I wanted another luxury watch. When I first looked into buying an Omega, I was torn between the Seamaster and Speedmaster. I wanted the Seamaster because of James Bond but I liked the history behing the Speedmaster. Anyhow, a few weeks ago I decided I was going to save up for the Moon to Mars Edition. I mentioned it to my fiancee and at first she was against the idea of me buying "another watch." There are a lot of enthusiasts of the Bond SMP so I was wondering to what extent lovers of the 2531.80 or 2220.80 were influenced by the connection with Bond? How close were you to opting for the 2254.50 or indeed 2255.80 but that the link with arguably the most famous spy on the screen just swung the deal in the direction of the Bond SMP?Y'all be well now palsZIN

bilingual Days on the Seiko 007J
I have the watch mentioned above and I am still learning some of it's operations. One things that I am wondering about is whether I can make it just the english days or am I going to always have the bilingual(arabic or some other symbols) and what language is it that is on the watch. Any information would be appreciated and I am loving this watch it just seems that I have some questions every time I turn my computer on.

Will the real Endicott please stand up?
As I showed in the June incomings thread I recently bought what I thought was an Endicott that appears to be an Endicott dial / movement inside a Sentinel / Secometer case.This seems to happen somewhat frequently leading me to wonder if perhaps the cases changed over time and if perhaps Hamilton actually cased Endicotts differently perhaps towards the end of their production with the start of WWII.Here's a couple of examples from my own collectionnote how the slender lugs taper.Here's some Secometers and a Sentinelnote how the lugs are a little more rounded and full.And now here's my latest acquisition with what looks like a Sentinel case. Here's also a link to a blog I found on line that discusses the Endicott. Note this watch looks like it's in the wrong case too.
