Omega cal. 267 wrist watches news:
Vacheron Constantin is launching two new Overseas models that should hit stores this month. The Automatic and Automatic Chronograph feature steel gray cases, gray titanium bezels, and slate gray dials. The 42mm cases house caliber 1226 in the automatic and caliber 1137 in the chronograph. Both movements are enclosed in soft iron for added protection from magnetism. Each watch is water resistant to 150 meters, and each is delivered with two straps, one in gray alligator and one in black rubber.
So, earlier today you guys let me know that my "new" watch was a Hamilton K-407. I love it! I got it back from my watchsmith today (had it oiled and serviced). The movement was in great shape, only needing one small part (apparently the movement/dial was a little loose in the case- I guess there are two small pieces that hold the movement in place. One of those was missing. Luckily the watchsmith had the needed part). Now I am thinking about what my next conquest should be. I like the look of the K-407 in general (though I am not tied to a black dial). I do like the diameter of the K-407 though. I am looking to spend c. $200-250. What says the forum!
I'm just a novice but I really liked this vintage Hamilton I found at the local flea market today. Will need a little cleaning and the day is a little wonky but other than that it seems to work great. I'm keeping it and will start wearing it. Being a novice I don't know exactly what I found. Any info would be great. Thanks
HII am trying to identify what year the movement is in my tonneau engraved watch. the movement has a serial number of 411163 with 987 underneath. all the data i found listed that serial number to a 987F model. so i guess my question is is this a 987 or a 987F. I listed below all the info i have on this watch.on the cover is H6/0Wadsworthquality14Ksolid gold0143437on the movementHamilton Watch Company411116398717 jewelsany help would be appreciatedscan0002.jpgscan0003.jpg100_1143.jpg
