Zenith 03.2020.670/22.C498 wrist watches news:
We have recently introduced a new series called "Cost of Entry" which features the most affordable model offered by a popular watch company, and we are kicking the series off with none other than Rolex. Speaking of Rolex, we are also taking a close look at their sister company Tudor, and how their newest watches and recently announced in-house movement are going to affect the market for Swiss tool watches. It is often said that the best way to engage customers (and the press) is to invite them to tour the manufacture ¨C we have dozens of manufacture visit articles published here, on watches-dealer. The chance to go on a trip aside, it is through these articles that we can get?closest to the craftsmen and artisans who manufacture the watch,?and such trips are always enlightening and eye-opening. In this round-up, we show you what goes on behind the scenes at one of the oldest and most respected names in the business - Minerva. And to end the month of May, we are also looking at new watches
So I was planing to buy an Invicta is a good looking watch and for only $80 dollars I was ready to buy it yesterday, but then I read the Reviews and for what people are saying it seems that Invicta made the worst watches. When 200 people out of 300 complain about the watch stop working after only one month, makes you think. Go to amazon type invicta and just read the reviews.
Good day...it's been a while since I've been participating here. Life has been busy with it's curveballs and hiccups. My daily wearer is a Tag quartz. Suits my needs perfectly withstanding working in the gravel industry now, and enduring an active motorcycle and boating season. (no pics available at this time since it was left with the watchmaker yesterday for a service)Just fresh back from the watch makers, yesterday is my grandfathers watch. This watch was found in a crusty paper bag under a pile of clothing and laundry detergent that had gotten soaked. The movement was rusted, seized and coated in a blueish mould not having seen a wrist since Feb of '66. The watchmaker took his time with it, some 7 months but I'm thrilled with the results. He was diligent in keeping the old patina of the face.IMG_0218_zps54629fc0.jpgNext, my father's golfing watch. Nothing special about the watch itself, but it was worn by my father when he enjoyed his second most passionate pastime.IMG_0216.jpgMy f
While on vacation last month, my wife was trying on a few different DJ31s. They didn't have a combination that she liked and they also were asking for $6350US (which I though was high). Came home and went to local AD. Wifey really wanted a white dial, tried it on and it didn't do it for her. Tried on a few more and this one really sang to her. I personally liked the fluted, blue dial w/ diamonds. She didn't like fluted and she didn't like diamond dial. As long as she is happy, now I have an excuse to buy myself something :) Price on watch was $7200 cad, got it for $6250 cad (about 13% off). Maybe I'll buy the fluted blue diamond dial one.And I did say make sure you don't drop it in front of me.
i know u might have seen this before but your input would be appreciated I need a watch with steel bracelet. I own two vintage timepieces including a Rolex Precision with black dial and its fairly small on my wrist So i need an everyday beater with a braceletI also was thinking for a vintage Tudor blue snowflake or the new Omega Speedmaster 60th anniversary And finally The TUDOR Black Bay Black would be the most sensible choice i know different watches all together ...i just wanted to know what you think Regards Ioannis
