Airplanes necessitate plenty of gadgets to run, however, so Bell & Ross has taken their Instrument idea and extended it to include an other important element of flight instrumentation ¡ª the Radar. The BR01 Radar will be produced in a limited edition of 500 pieces. It displays the time using three discs, each marked with a happily colored line to indicates a unit of time. This configuration emulates the sweeping light beam of the radar screen, but more importantly it creates a unique and fun look for enthusiasts of the BR-01 92.The dial of the BR-01 Radar is what makes this watch peculiar. The traditional hands that point out the time have been replaced by three discs that are marked with colored lines.

An amazing story here. . .'The Watch and I Went Through Fire'One amazing tale of Hamilton watches during World War II comes from the disaster that thrust the United States into that war. It's recounted in Time for America: Hamilton Watch Co. 1882-1992, by Don Sauers (Sutter House, Lititz, Pa.).In December 1941, Russell W. Warriner was a crewman aboard the USS Arizona and, as he said, "the proud owner of a Hamilton wristwatch." On Dec. 7, 1941, Japanese warplanes attacked Pearl Harbor, home of the U.S. Pacific Fleet. Worst hit was the Arizona, with 1,177 casualties¡ªhalf of the surprise attack's total casualties.Warriner was one of the Arizona's few survivors. "The watch and I went through tremendous concussions from the explosions, through fire, oil, and saltwater," he wrote of those hellish minutes. Which yellow face Orient should I keep?
On a quest for a yellow face watch I came across two Orients. Both different in their own ways. One is the mythical (lol) Yellow Mako and the other is the Orient Power Reserve. I have to part with one and so I'm asking the WIS community, which would you stay with and why. Attached are the pics and for those that don't know, the half skeleton is the Power Reserve and the diver is the Mako. Thanks!
