- This item is useless. Why it was made and sold by HSN is just beyond explanation. It should have been made in to a bangle or just a pendant. On its way back!

Cartier 2465 wrist watches news:
ContaTempo Scuderia is a watch brand many of you may be unaware of, but their aggressive, overbuilt, race inspired aesthetic is one that begs to be noticed. The entire line of ContaTempo Scuderia watches share many distinctive characteristics, not least of which is the inclusion of a bullhead case design on all timepieces. This design choice is in keeping with the brand's commitment to creating watches inspired by automobile and motorcycle racing, as pushers positioned at 12 o'clock recall the design of a stop watch.Enrico Margaritelli, a third generation watch maker and previous collaborator with Fossil and Emporio Armani, is the brand's head, and his extensive experience in watch making is apparent in each of the ContaTempo Scuderia pieces. In our time at the ContaTempo booth at Baselworld, we had the chance to go hands on with the brand's entire line of watches, all of which felt very well made and wore comfortably despite their large (46 mm diameter) size. Their designs are balanced
just had an interesting conversation with the omega AD regarding the new seamasters 8500 v.s the old seamasters 2500 co-axial" the 8500 is no more in house than the 2500 co-axial" - Omega ADbold statement?.....im not so sure.....he is correct in many ways.....ETA built the 8500 for omega from scratch around the george daniels escapement.....ETA built the 2892 co-axial for omega as well by basically modifying the existing 2892 movementwe are all aware that swatch owns omega and ETA so no big deal right?......well why are watch enthusiasts referring to the 8500 as a 'manufacture' movement? when it seems to be no more 'manufacture' than the 2500 co-axial?...is it because it was built from scratch?.....so what...it was still built by ETAi think the AD is right and in no way did he make an attempt to imply otherwise regarding the 8500my personal feeling is obviously the 8500 is a brand new movement but IT IS eta built......the 8500 is exclusive to omega BUT so is the 2500 co-axial.........p
Good morning Omegaphiles ...What watch never peaked your interest ..never got you hot and bothered ..and was actually one that you did not care for ...UNTIL, you saw that one set of incredible WIS pics that made you change your mind? For me, it is DOXA. They are one of those "you either love 'em or you hate 'em brands. I would see them on the various SC's and think "man, those are ugly and so Old School looking. Then one day on a popular dive forum I saw the most incredible pics of a Sharkhunter and just like that I was hooked. One led to two, and now I have a third incoming. What about you guys? Any particular watch(s) that you just woke up one morning and "had to have"?- David
I've been going back and forth for a few months now and have fallen for the Blue 5711 hard. The problem however is in the past couple months the grey market prices have really taken off and starting to seem borderline ridiculous with preowned pieces at just under 30k now. Question is is this just a temporary bump or will this be the new norm? Seems like an awful big jump in just a couple months.
Here's the complete set of green dial LEs that just came out, 735, 736 and 737. The pic is not the best but it's the only one my man at OP Singapore had. All I can remember as fact is that one is a Rad, one's a Rad 1940 and (obviously ) one is a 1950 Luminor. I can't remember which movements are inside or the quantities produced (apart from 200 for the 737) so won't hazard a guess. They are most definitely boutique exclusive though, so you're only going to score one from a boutique, grey or private seller. They're not released to ADs.
