Cartier WE100231 wrist watches news:
Please thank the winner of the Orient Excursionist watch from the August 2011 aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer watch giveaway for a follow-up image and comments. Congrats again to him:"So, and I've been looking forward to this, my Orient Excursionist was waiting at my doorstep today. The box was a little beat up - but that was UPS's fault. The watch inside was in another box, which was perfectly intact, protected by copious amounts of packing nuts. Orient packaged this watch nicely, in a presentation box with a riveted faux leather finish framing a stainless steel plate. My first impression of the watch was, "Wow, it's big!" But it really isn't, not after you put it on your wrist. (My wrist is quite narrow - I removed three links from the bracelet, and it's still a bit loose; still, watch is nicely proportioned and doesn't look out of place.)My previous watch was a Skagen, which I've been wearing for a while, so I'm really out of practice for such a chunky watch. But I'm catching on quick, ne

Hey everyone! First AP purchased yesterday and I have a question/clarification for those who are familiar with the ROO. my FC makes a winding noise as the oscillating weight moves around. It sounds like a winding buzz. Best I can come to explain it. Its not super loud, cant hear it while wearing the watch. But in a quiet room, if i move my the watch around it can be clearly heard a good two feet from my ears. Just asking because all of my other automatics are silent. I searched the forum to see if this had been asked before and didnt find anything, but forgive me if I missed it. my question is, is this noise normal to the ROO. the watch is keeping perfect time. Thanks for any input!
I have a 5055, white gold, black face, deployment buckle that I want to sell. It definitely needs a polishing and the strap needs to be replaced. Would you recommend having it polished and changing the strap if sell it to a AD? Or am I wasting money making the watch look new again as a dealer realizes exactly what needs to be done to get the watches appearance back up to snuff. Also, if anyone could point me in the direction of any dealers that I could contact for a possibly sale. Thanks in advance.
can anyone help me identify if this pam 001 is real?appears to be circa 2000 from what I can tell. band has been replaced, possibly. L swiss L on black face, titanium-looking case/crown If it is a fake, please let me know how to identify...
