Of all the watches you have, which one is the most readable at a glance? Some give you everything else, like the date, moonphase, power reserve, and you know that the time is in there somewhere and you have to search for it.So, chronos and complicated dials obviously obscure the time, but of the 3 hands, which is best to read? My silver dial with white hands doesn't do the job well, white DJ clone with silver hands...no, even with the Orange Monster, as bold as it is, tends to be vague in some types of lighting. The PAM homage is also bold with readable numbers, but the hands are too similar to each other. I've found that for me, it comes back to the black divers watch with the silver mercedes hands and the round markers. The contrast is stark with both the colours and the shapes. When the two hands overlap, you can tell immediately which one is the hour and which is the minutes. The stick markers at the quarter hours and the triangle at twelve are distinctive and were put there for a

I was thiiiiiiiissssss close to pulling the trigger on a nice pre-owned Breitling Super Ocean. In lieu of that, though, I opted to go for a new car sound system, a new camera and, quite possibly this weekend, a new handgun.But I was still jonesin' for a watch.I've wanted these for a while. The styling is just funky enough to ensure that I'm not going to see every other guy at Happy Hour wearing one. However, I just couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger, as most of the ones I was seeing were priced close to $300.00. I figured I'd wait and see if one came down the pre-owned road and, sure enough, our own Rusty saw to it that it did.Thanks Rusty!!
