2009 Swiss Watch Exports Down 22.3%
The headline on the Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry’s report on December, 2009 exports reads “Recovery Confirmed.” This is perhaps a case of news that is less bad being viewed as good. Swiss watch exports for December were down only 7.2% compared with the same month in 2008, though for all of 2009, Swiss watch exports declined 22.3% to 13.2 billion Swiss francs.On the bright side, December followed November as the second month in which the steep declines reflected in the the 12 month moving average leveled off, and December’s single digit decline is perhaps a sign that the fever has broken, though the patient remains in guarded condition at best.Markets that registered growth in December were mainly those in the Far East. China enjoyed a 43.5% increase while Hong Kong was up 27%. The U.S. market’s decline slowed from -21.4% in November to -15.7% in December. My search is over. The 5205 is on my wrist and there arent any pictures on the net that can do it justice. I purchased the black dial version and it is gorgeous. I located it in Dallas and the AD there was exceptional.As for the watch, its fit is perfect. The contour of the curved lugs really accomodates my wrist. The elegence of it gives it a tremendous sense of appeal. It is definitly a "confident" watch. As I write this I keep starring at it almost afraid to put it back on my wrist.LOLIts balance is superb. All the colors and shadings all compliment each other. The grey hour markers practically blend into the concave case giving it an appearance as one. There is no part of the watch that detracts from another area of it. at quick glance you are automaticaly driven to the center of the watch. There,IMO, is nothing that makes your eyes wander. Hi,Im so excited that my first AP is coming in next coupe of days. This is the watch im expecting:Im pretty confident on the buy, however, its my first time buying from this seller and i do not trust him 100% ( 90-95% up until now)Do the pics look legit to you guys? I just deposit 10% and gonna have a face to face transaction when the watch arrive. However we do not have AP AD in my city, what should i check to be 100% sure the watch is legit? Hulk won't change date-now what??
Hi, Title kind of says it all. My Hulk will not change dates automatically after it goes past midnight. Even after I manually wind the minute hand around, it does not switch over. I have tried it for several revolutions of the minute hand to make sure. However, it does change when I manually pull out the stem to the first click, where that feature is JUST to change the date and the minute hand does not move. So, what is my procedure now. I bought it from DavidSW here and I have plenty of warranty left. Can I just bring it to an AD with my warranty card or do I need to send it to Rolex somewhere.Thanks for your help.
