IWC IW322801 wrist watches news:
I'm not certain I have an answer for this.I like the micro-machinery, but I don't work on them - like I used to do with my cars & bikes. And I'm not convinced I see any given watch as an extension of my personality. So frankly, I'm baffled by my love for watches.
Another thread prompted me to start this thread. In many forums, this and others, I have discovered, every now and then, posters often will post something as if they were the original source then the original source becomes evident somewhere down the road (i.e., the same words will be found in a book on the subject). Although providing information is laudable I wonder if an underlying intent is to come across as a walking encyclopedia thus bolstering their forum appeal? So, the question posed (not begged) is: What are forum (this forum and forums in general) tacit or written rules about citing sources? Is there a forum (this forum and forums in general) code of ethics when it comes to not citing sources? Should those who do not cite their sources "be outted"?
I am wearing the one and only First Offshore launched in 1993. How about everyone else?ImageUploadedByTapatalk1333893876.504220.jpgSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk. Watches are the new currency!
Hi all, would really appreciate your feedback here. I am building my collection and thinking about my next two purchases. I want to acquire a Chronomat 41 and a Datejust 2 41mm. Here is my question, I know that one will be two tone, one will be SS. Which way would you go...Two tone Chronomat (YG) and a SS Datejust or Two tone DJ and SS Chronomat? Dial color is a whole other dilemma but I think I need to nail down the model and style first! Thanks
This may be a scuba diving Q more than a watch specific one but why is 20 the first # on the bezel and not 10?
