I have a fairly decent Benrus Airman case with a really rotten dial. I don't refinish dials very often, but this one really needs it. Since this is a bit of a "rare bear", I'd like to have it as nice as possible. My latest results from International were a bit disappointing and the only other company I've used is Kirk in Seattle (very good results, but I'm not sure they have any Benrus dies). Does anyone here have a recommendation?Thanks,BrianP.S. - Has anyone ever seen one of these on its original mesh bracelet?
I am brand new on the watch scene. I have a couple watches but nothing I would say I'm in love with. I have not yet purchased a watch to officially start my collection. I'm looking to start with an automatic. So far I have fallen in love with the Hamilton Khaki Nave UTC. However, it is a bit above my pay grade for now. I'm looking for a nice, well made automatic thats gonna run me $500 or less. Also I have started learning about movements and the way a watch works. However, I could use some good links to help me really get into it! All info would be appreciated. Thanks so much!
Citizen Eco-Drive Divers 300 M Rubber Strap-OrangeBN0088-03e on left-Seiko Orange Monster SRP309 on rightI am surprised the Eco-Drive is nearly as bright to my eyes. If the Eco-Drive was all the color of the hands, i think they would be even. Thoughts? This shot iwas taken with an Ipad with no u v light added!Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
well my russian diver arrived today, holy crap, it's huge, I used to think that 48mm was "small", guess not after wearing this thing for about a hour. It's a invicta model#7001 it has the simple leather strap, not the complicated quinotaur style with the barrels. White face, silver dial, and chronograph complication.Sorry for the terrible photo's. I'll take some better ones soon. Meanwhile enjoy!!!!!
