My Dad's New Orbita Sparta"Gevril" Special
Hello Folks,I just purchased a wonderful new Orbita Sparta (I THINK that's the correct model line!) 2-head winder from Kevin @ Orbita. As usual, his high level of service showed through. His shipping tracking email said the winder would be here tomorrow (Friday), but it arrived 1 day early! The winder is equipped with the Lithium power supply, providing a guaranteed minimum of 5 years of life, which is fantastic. Heck, I've had whole winders that never made it past 1 year before, nevermind their power supply! This, in my opinion, is another positive reminder of Orbita's commitment to build winders for the VERY long term. My Dad was impressed at the craftsmanship (and he is a hard man to please ). He really likes the viewing window, and has no need for a base drawer. This model of winder is a "swing" type, as opposed to a rotating type (like my Orbita Monaco 6). That caught me a little off-guard, but makes complete sense when viewed relative to the power source of this winder.

How many Debaufre do you own/ where do they rank in your personal collection?
We need to beef up this forum! (Or post on a regular basis )Ocean 1 Classic and Silver CSAR on leather strap.They get more compliments than my Seamaster (or other watches in collection) and are great for everyday office/ on the road wear.

Hi guys,I have posted recently my doubt about trading the 5726A plus the proceedings I had reserved for a BNIB 5167A in order to get a BNIB 5980/1A blue. So, there were many important opinions . Interestingly, there was a clear division and not a trend at all.
