Cartier WE1001R8 wrist watches news:
A prominent Sydney Watch dealer sent me his e-news letter yesterday advising of his new stock and the fact that "on Monday Rolex Australia had introduced a new price list the second price hike since November. The new prices apply mainly to gold/steel and solid gold watches with the average increase 15%."I phoned Rolex Australia in Melbourne to be told that yes there had been a price increase due to the fall in the Australian dollar and the increase in the price of gold. I asked specifically about the SS GMT IIc and was told theprice was A$9,670.00 which is only about $200 more than before but the TT GMT IIc was A$14,070.00 an of increase of about 15%.I understand that our Dollar is way down but I don't see how, in this economic climate , they can justify another a big increase.
Hello all.. after trying to help my buddy on his watch Ive been looking around for myself now! I have a couple Seiko's that are nice and i can wear then everyday to work and one that has gold and no brown with metal band, which i dont wear that often anymore. I want something that I would never wear to work, not that it would matter, i just want something a little "flashier" to wear out at night and out with clients. I love the larger faces; 45+ and no gold. I know I have a limit for now.. maybe 300-500, which i know is low but if I could justify it now, my favorite is the Breitling Navitimer! If anyone has any companies to check out, im going to ride by some local jewelery stores. If you want to just post your favorite larger face watch.. i love seeing them anyway!thanks everyone

I have long wanted to add a 55 to the collection. BBQ once said in every collection.. there is always room for a titanium Pam! The combination of a brown tobacco dial and fat sausage numbers are just great in a titanium case. Base is indeed ace... I like it!Here is a quick shot!
Ok , so life happened and I've become a One watch guy for awhile ... As I loved both the BLNR and the Bluesy Sub C plus my TT Sub Black dial 5 digit ref ... I trimmed the collection down to one hopefully temporarily... The TT Black dial Sub went on to greener pastures and so did one more ... Can you guys guess which one survived the cut ??? Not that I can't say, it's just makes it a little more fun between the 2 because they are both excellent and stunning references in their own right plus the decision wasn't easy either .... So which one stayed and which one moved on to greener pastures?BLNR or Bluesy Sub C... ?Prior thread if interested:https://.rolexforums/showthread.php?t=532861
