Help with first Omega
At an auction last night and purchased this Omega. It just looked too good to bypass. Any ideas model, yr etc.? I've remove the serial number from the movement photo but it starts with 11111###. And any idea where in the Toronto area I can get a nice Omega strap with a vintage look (or a vintage Omega strap) priced reasonably?Barry

How do you adjust a incastar regulator on a Mido
This watch has a different type of regulator (incastar). The adjuster "wheel" has a + and - on it and it is suppose to lengthen and shorten the hair spring that is squeezed between a roller and the roller on the adjuster wheel. OKbut it doesn't. The very end of the hair spring looks like it is attached to a post but if that is so how can the hair spring move back and forth. Some help here would be great. Thanks.Here is a pic I got surfing of the back side of the regulator.

Like New Datejust 41 w/ Roman Dial - Good Price?
Hello, I just recently joined the forum, but have been lurking for a little while and I am looking at making my first Rolex purchase. My local Rolex Dealer has a Datejust 41 w/ Roman Dial, White Gold Fluted Bezel and oyster bracelet for $7,500. They are selling it as used due to the fact that someone purchased and registered it and later brought it back and the warranty is not transferable. Still has factory stickers, box, papers etc. Not sure on the serial number, but store manager says its a 2017 model. I honestly just have not idea what is considered a good buy, or if this is overpriced. I am very new to Rolex, I have a Tudor Pelagos, and Omega Speedmaster currently, but would like to add to my collection. I am looking for advice in regards to price and some general direction. Thanks in advance, I look forward to hearing ya'lls great advice.

Tudor BBN ETA finally
16 years since I got my first Rolex (a sub date) and I never paid attention its little brother Tudor. well until very recently. Multiple readings on the BB finally made me decide to find a black bezel version, the classic. Turned out it was very hard to find one but eventually I did thanks to the help of a close friend. A BBN ETA on leather, mint condition and with full accessories. Will give it some wrist time to test out how it lives up to the hype.
