JeanRichard JeanRichard 40222 wrist watches news:
I have had this watch for nearly three months now. It wasn't a planned purchase - I didn't even it on my radar as a possibility! I was browsing watches at a local jeweler that sells Longines and Tag. Earlier in the year I had a Tag Aquaracer on my wishlist, but it has slid off of late. So I thought I would go and have another look at them and at some of the other Tags. I tried on a Carrera and a Monaco and quite liked them both. But then I walked over to the Longines display.Normally in my town the Longines displays aren't very exciting. They mostly have lots of Dolce Vita and Evidenza style watches - nothing wrong with that, I have a Dolce Vita and am very happy with it. But nowhere nearby stocks any of the Master Collection, for example. So I wasn't expecting much. But sitting in the case was a Grande Vitesse, and it jumped out at me! I had been looking at the Tag Carreras and it was similar - black face, chrono, SS bracelet. But the red highlighting on the chrono seconds hand, aroun
We have a puzzle brewing in the LUM-TEC Forum.(1) Is a plain undecorated movement rotor any better at doing its job than a rotor of the same caliber that has had some of its mass removed through decoration, engraving, etc.?(2) How important is a rotor's center-of-gravity in relation to its pivot location?(3) How important are the rotor's bearings? Are there any factors (NOT including lubricants) that I've overlooked?( Actually, the question was: "When you customize a rotor, does it have to come out the same weight as a standard rotor?" )
Just wondering if anyone out there has missed out on a really great deal that continues to haunt them? Here's mine - and it still makes me cry to think about it: While I was very ill a few months ago my AD telephoned to give me first refusal on a brand new s/s Zenith Striking Tenths El Primero at 50% discount!! I was unable to do anything at the time due to my illness so he rang someone else who purchased it immediately. When Zenith found out about the price reduction they were livid - but it was too late the watch was sold. The dealership is part of a national chain and apparently someone accidentally put the Striking Tenths on the 50% reduction list. Since this happened I have rang numerous dealers in the UK and have only found a small number of this model of watch and absolutely no discount.
Do you wear water-resistant watches in the water, shower or hand washing?Tell us yes or no, and maybe throw in the water-resistance level of the watches you test or not test.I never get my watches wet. I have one watch certified at 330 meters and another certified to 1000 meters. The Rolex watches also stay high and dry.
I truly love my Audemars Ceramic DiverSometimes however I wonder however if I would like a more uniform look with respect to the watch plots if they came in black ceramic or darker titanium.Does anyone know if these plots are available?I called the Miami Boutique and they stated there are no AP options for this watch. Perhaps aftermarket? Thanks!
