Cartier W50002N2 wrist watches news:
You have got to see the advertising that Tendence No Limits watches produce. One of the video's below is an advertisement, while the other video shows a type of marketing that Italian Tendence engages in. That being a location in the virtual world Second Life. They aren't the first company to have virtual real estate in Second Life as Hublot did it first a while back. The idea is that you have a branded area in a the virtual world that people can explore and get interested in the brand. Avatars can buy virtual watches to wear, but more importantly, it is branding for real world sales. I can't say how successful it is, but I like the idea.Well on to the watches. For now I am talking about a single line of models, the Round Gulliver watches from Tendence. I take it Gulliver refers to the term meaning "head." So the round head watch it is. There are actually many versions (over 20), and I am just displaying a few. Their online catalog is pretty comprehensive (and you can buy many of the m
Pretty much as it says really!Do we know for sure exactly what form this watch will take? I thought it was basically the blue "Bond" but in black. Before that we all thought it was going to be the 2254.50 with a Co Axial movement and applied markers! Now Houston tells me it's going to be the classic "Bond" look but have the laquered dia(sweet) and therefore will be the LE minus the "007" stuff. Can we perhaps take this opportunity to pool all our sketchy knowledge of this watch into what may be a clearer picture of what it is we are waiting for?Has there been a press pack issued yet? I thought they were sent out immediatley after Basel? When is it supposed to be available? How much? (I presume it will be the same as the blue Bond plus the recent price hike?)I'm returning my PO today and am considering waiting for this "Mystery watch" instead of going with the 2254.50. Since I will get hit with the price rise anyway I don't have much to lose and can still get a 2254.50 if the new watch do
I have been tinkering around with some "disposable" watches and learning how to disassemble, reassemble, change parts, and really been getting into the hobby. Well I have also been eyeing an IWC Portuguese 7 day, and finally a bright idea hit me, why don't I build one myself (I am aware of the task I am jumping into, and have help from someone who has taken these types of projects before). My biggest problem is that it is a lot easier to find crap watches to tinker with than specific reliable pieces. Any suggestions on where to source case, dial, crown tube, hands, and crystals would be much appreciated. Just about the only thing I can get on my own is the band and deployment, ironically they require no building.
I know this sounds like a random weird question coming from me being the big AP owner and fan I am. This morning thinking about the major overhaul being conducted on my 5402 in Le Brassus I asked myself whether the cal. 2121 on the 15202 is now a quick-set or if it still remains like on mine with the quick advance feature between midnight and 2am only. 15202 owners please chime in!!! Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk. Watches are the new currency!
Would appreciate opinions. I have an early 1680 gold sub with early style raised crown on band. I wear it regularly, 5-10 days monthly. Serviced 7-8 years ago in NY at Rolex. At that time they suggested some work on the band that I deferred. About 20 years ago a rivet came out while wearing immediately after service. Luckily, the watch didn¡¯t fall but was sent back to NY to repair. Now they are telling me the band needs some overhaul, more than just polish, but I hate to loose a good deal of gold with major work and subsequent polish. As it¡¯s becoming highly collectible what should I do? Thank you.
