Cartier W5101193 wrist watches news:
The so-called “beautiful game” is what we Americans call soccer and what nearly everyone else calls football. Some of the world’s luxury sports-watch makers have gotten in on the excitement, with special-edition watches specially devoted to the sport and its players. Hublot ¡ª headed by rabid f¨²tbol fan Jean-Claude Biver ¡ª became official timekeeper for the FIFA World Cup in 2014. Accordingly, the brand used the opportunity to release a plethora of special-edition Hublot World Cup watches. The most technically interesting of these watches is the Hublot Big Bang Unico Bi-Retrograde Chrono, nicknamed the Hublot “Soccer Bang.” Designed to showcase the colors of host country Brazil’s flag, the watch is powered by a new in-house movement, Caliber HUB1260, which features a bi-retrograde chronograph function with the hands recording 15-minute intervals, making it ideal for timing the halves of a soccer match, plus 15 minutes “extra time.” Th

So, I'm looking at a Tudor Chrono -- Real nice. Then, wow, find out I can buy a new Omega Blue chrono for about the same price. I like the blue dial and bezel, sorta like the white gold rolex Sub I can't afford. Though, of course the Rolex isn't a chrono. Anyone have one of these Omegas? Are they nice? Show some photos maybe?? Thanks, Chuck
Hi guys,I've been chewing this over for a while now and would appreciate any input. Of the 5296 I'm certain that it would be the R non-sector version, I love the clean lines, applied indices and class of a watch that really doesn't shout but whispers class (poetic licence there, sorry). I'm also attracted to the idea of new. For around similar money a pre owned 5146 is also possible, but on this on not sure if which variant. I wanted a gold watch but the white gold G version seems a better combination than the R. This would probably be my last big watch purchase ( I'm sure that's been said a million times before) so I don't want to get it wrong. Fwiw I'm lucky enough to have a blue dial 5711 so this would be a companion piece that I would probably wear more often.Any thoughts or suggestions welcome
Is it common in your area for an AD to charge a lot more to send a watch for RSC to repair? When I was buying my BLNR the other day a guy walked in and said his watch didn¡¯t work. The lady said they could send to RSC but he minimum charge if it was just a basic service was $1,250 on his Submariner. I couldn¡¯t believe my ears!
