Cartier w26019L1 wrist watches news:
Hi,I bought this old IWC 2 years ago. I just lost the backcase of it while riding my bike and had no chance to find it back. It was a clipped transparent backcase (i don't know whether this was the original back case)In order to repair it, I would like to find a spare backcase. The issue is I don't even know the reference/name of this watch. The only remaining information is a number on the mechanism: #1835587.IWC_Vintage1.jpgIWC_Vintage2.jpgCan anyone help to identify the watch and eventually tell me where to find a spare backcase (even directing me to other people)? Thanks and regards from Paris.
Hey, new to the forum let me just say that there seems to be some helpful people here. I'm new to the higher end watches and have been contemplating getting one for awhile (have been waiting until the cash became available). After looking through many different options (my price range is under 5k), I find myself drawn to IWC pilot's, specifically mark XVI. The newer portofino's are incredible nice and simple as well. My wrists are not enormous so anything around 46mm makes me look like a background dancer in a little john song.Any advice on other IWC's which may fit my description or comparable mechanical watches with the same type of understated look and high quality IWC provides. Buying used is also a possibility but I like in Canada so the options aren't as great. Thanks!
I recently acquired an awesome watch. It's an automatic, and it's by the company named Muji.A Japanese brand, it's a rather interesting watch. 41mm diameter with a push/pull crown. The part I truly enjoy about this watch is the simplicity. The style is apparently based on the school clocks distributed in Japan. What's more interesting is the origin of the movement. It says "Malaysian movement" but I've never heard of that.It reminds me of a Seiko movement. The only real question that bothers me is if it has a date wheel under the face.Because when pulling the crown, there are 2 positions and at position one, if you turn it, it feels like the date is being altered (clicks). Also, when setting the time, the hands turn really quickly, even with the slightest movement.Anywho, if you run across one of these, pick them up. I recommend it highly.Too bad the original strap is really poor in quality (buckle is really nice, though) and it's rather hard to come by outside of Japan.
Here are all the boys together!! Anyone noticed a trend? Of course you have!! They're all black faced watches (whilst 3 of them have a hint of colour). Saying that though, my Luminox has more that a hint of colour!! Enjoy!
Hi guys need some support from this great place. Having lusted after the Diver for ages I finally got it, love it. But! The bezel is a scratch magnet! OMG! And it's getting worse! Now I don't baby my watches but have never had this level of damage - and it's getting worse! How much does a new bezel cost, and can you get it refurbished by AP? It seems no matter the precautions I take this thing is getting battered, and this is my most expensive piece!
