Seiko SNDC91 wrist watches news:
Hey guys!!!After days of debating and trying out a whole lot of timepieces I finally zeroed in and got myself this one.....Firstly a big thanks to each and every one of you who posted pics of this particular watch on this forum... Yurs pics were what really drew me into this watch.....I have been wearing this watch for the last 2 days even whilst loitering at home and I have to say it is THE most comfortable watch to wear especialy for the size.... And I love the stealth apperance and understated luxury... Forged carbon and ceramic reallt does the trick.....Enjoy these pics I took first thing Sturday morning to share with you guys :-)Regards,Abner
I want to complete a set for my 2231.80 Seamaster 300m chrono that I bought new from AD back in 2000 but didn't the come with the red chrono hang tag nor serial # tag.To my surprise it seems these hang tags are quite rare ! I found two for sale on chrono24 commanding prices around $90.Any idea why these Omega tags are so rare and expensive ? E.g Rolex tags are 7x cheaper and readily available.I even found a site that sells Omega tag replicas
Not wanting to Hijack Rick999's thread i decided to open this thread with a nice overview of all the new models, except the Advanced Research
It's not a secret that the watch industry is in trouble for the momentSome brands do barely sell watches, others offer models in steel that used to be in gold, or some brands use lesser finished movementsOr look wat lange did with the 'cheap' smaller saxoniaAll of this to survive in these hard timesWell I had contact with some Patek dealers and Patek is lowering the production. an AD get's lists with watches they will get in the next weeks / monthsThe last 'list' was was one with quite some cancelled watches. For example, the AD was promised 5 world timers , 3 Nautilus, 4 chronos and 9 Calatrava ... 5 went to 4, 3 became 2 etcI guess they don't want too much stock at the ADSo probably some sought after pieces with waiting lists will even be harder to get
Contemplating purchasing one of the above. I've tried on the Sky Dweller but haven't been able to handle the 5990 in person. How does the 5990 wear compared to the Sky Dweller? Is the 5990's case taller than the Sky Dweller's (Patek's website conveniently leaves out the 5990's height)? How much thicker is the 5990 than the 5980?For those that have handled both, would you agree the GMT function easier to read on the Sky Dweller?Any input would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
