Cartier 1945MG2279 wrist watches news:
A couple Scott's were shown in today's thread, so let's see 'em all. Here are the two I've got left. Wgf with the black enamel and luminous dials.
The 1957 Tourist-Everlight must be one of the most unusual and rarest of watches.Fitted with a tiny bulb to light the dial, it only needed the battery (fitted in the case back!) recharging every 4-5 years with normal use! Thanks, Bob.zz1957 tourist-everlight.jpg
I like the idea, as recently achieved by Dennis with his '65 JLC, of a birth-year watch.I'm wondering if anyone has some suggestions for a 1968 watch? Criteria are:40mm or biggerPreferably under $1000 USDNO cushion case.Dress, diver, or anything else.Other than that the floor is wide open. All I can think of off the top of my head is something like an Omega Speedmaster, except it's under 40mm (correct me if I'm wrong) and probably over $1000 (oh, and although I don't love it, I don't hate it either...)I'd really appreciate some help with suggestions if you can think of something.Thanks...
Which World Timer do you prefer? The oldest 5110 at 37mm, the 5130 at 39.5mm, or the latest 5230 at 38.5mm?Personally I have to say I like the cleaner dial of the 5130 compared to the new 5230. I also prefer the larger size.
The weekends nearly here!!Have A great Friday guys 'n gals...Another boring Sub for me today ! Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
