Rado 25517 wrist watches news:
For 2012 Eberhard & Co. will release these two rather clean looking sport watches called the Champion V. These are new versions of older Eberhard Champion watch collection pieces released about 20 years ago. The same sober looks are maintained while the Champion V watches are more modern in every way. I don't know why, but in their press release each time they write "Champion V," the Roman numeral 5 is done in a red font. There are going to be two distinct Champion V models. One will just be called the Champion V and the other will be called the Champion V Grande Date. While they are both decent watches I must admit to not understanding why the two models exists. I think they should have just made the Champion V Grande Date. Let me explain...Both versions offer multiple dial styles and colors. The styles range a lot actually and dial colors can come in blue, black, or white with different trims. The two watches have the same case - which is 42.80mm wide and 14.45mm thick. So what is
This one is ca. 1927 in solid green gold. Thanks, Bryan!Family photo...The two on the right are solid green gold, the three on the left white gold filled.
Curious what the consensus is around here, or if there even is one. Do you let your APs run down when not on the wrist or keep them going on a winder? What's better in the end for service etc...
So I sent in my Diver under warranty to the Clearwater facility on the 4th of September to get an adjustment since the watch was running 15+ seconds a day. A couple of days later, I had recieved the estimate that the repair would be done by approximately about four weeks. At the end of the second week I gave them a call to get an update what has been done to my watch. They said that my watch is in QC and should be ready in a week (a week short of the estimate). I was very pleased. This week I gave them a call and she said that my watch is going back to the watchmaker because it has failed the quality control. She said that a pinion has to be replaced and they are ordering the part directly from Switzerland. Which it would take about another four weeks. I am worried that the watch would not be done before I leave the country and that they cant mail the watch outside the US. My question is has anyone here have the same issue that I am having (missed estimate) and how long does it take f
I came across this watch for sale. I don't have any experience with these Omegas other than I have wanted one for some time. Any knowledgeable responses positive or negative would be greatly appreciated. Hands and lume plots still fire but not the bezel. Back case was ground down by previous owner years ago still some detail visible. I presume red second hand not original? Any thoughts?
