Seiko SKX007 fluke?
So a couple weeks ago I ordered a 007 off Amazon. Been eyeing it for a while, so finally grabbed one. I threw it on a NATO, shook it a few times, set the time and threw it on my wrist. Well it's been a week now, and the watch has gained/lossed exactly 0 seconds. I logged onto time.is when I set it, and wrote down the seconds difference, due to no hacking on the 007. 24 hours later, it was dead on. I kept wearing it for 7 days, and to my astonishment, it was still dead on.I need to switch it out because normally I go nuts if I dont change watches every day, but I bet it would go another week or more and still be dead on. Is this a fluke, or is the 007 that good of a watch?

What's your wrist size
I have an 8.5in wrist. It's good to have a big wrist because big watches fit well. But there are many watches between 38m -40m that just look small on my hand. So I am wondering about the rest of the people here.

Need trf help - unique situation
Team,I am first to admit I am no guru in Omega's, I did have a Professional Chrono Seamaster for a while but it was too big on my wrist, I obtained it as part of a trade.In any case my help is on a sadly different matter. One of the staff of my Sales agent sadly took his own life, none of us including his family saw it coming. He is doing all he can to help the wife and the three boys all under the age of 10. One of the things he has asked me to help with is to find a watch he can give the wife to give to each of the boys on their 18th birthday to remember their father with. He has indicated a budget of around $5K per watch, and he has asked me to pick a watch that wont go out of fashion over the next 10-15 years before the boys receive their gifts (not sure if they will need an oil inspection over that time by the way). My suggestion to him no surprise is to go with a classic Omega which I was thinking would be a Speedmaster or seamaster diver. I have pulled these two model numbers of

Happy Days... Incoming 5712!
As some of you would know, I was contemplating getting a 5712 vs a 5167 vs a 5164. I then decided on getting a 5712 and 5167 only to find none were available in Singapore. Thanks to a TRF member (nakedtoes) I was able to get one - double sealed from an AD! People always say, photos don't do this watch justice... Now I know what they mean. The Jury rests, I'm done.....
Well after six years of serious flipping and owning basically every single model other than a day date or sky dweller, I can truly say that my collection is complete. I honestly know that I've never truly thought that before. I had become addicted to the thrill of buying a new watch and somehow got a way of enjoying the pieces that I've worked hard to collect. I did a rough count the other day and Ive bought over 30 pieces in the past six years . I do feel for me at least that the perfect number is three, but my collection sits at four. Of the four I have, I've bought the BLNR four different times and the blue Milgauss three different times, only to miss them like crazy! I'm glad the flipping train has finally come to an end. The only other move I was contemplating was the blue sky dweller or a blue sub, but after finally seeing the blue sky dweller and getting to wear a friends blue sub for a few days I now know I'm done.
